Religious Education Program
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church offers two Religious Education Models. You’ll find our Home Study Program registration packet on the Home Study Model Page and The Classroom Model registration packet on the Classroom Model Page.
Changes To The Family Program
The Family Program is changing to a Home-Study Program in the fall. Families will be provided textbooks and assignments to complete at home. Families will then meet with the DRE (five times during the school year) for prayer testing and to turn in completed work. The Home-Study Program will be available for students in grades first through sixth; students enrolled in ANY sacramental preparation program CANNOT use the Home-Study Program.
Date Change for 2017/2018
The Religious Education program is moving to Sundays from 2:00 to 3:30 pm for the 2017/2018 school year. If you would like to teach, substitute teach, or be a teacher’s assistant, please volunteer! We would like to offer a K5 program in the 2017/2018 year, but we need a teacher and a teacher’s helper in the K5 room. Please contact Joan Blake at (864) 263-3445 x 205 if you would like to be part of the 2017/2018 Religious Education team!

Religious education and spiritual formation is a lifelong process. It is best if it begins very early in our lives which is why it is important that parents serve as the first and primary religious educators of their children. The duty of the parish is to support the parents in this vital and essential responsibility. Through our religious education programs, we provide critical support to the parents and their children in the area of Christian formation.
